The Settings page lets you manage connectivity, API keys, scripts, and device updates.
Here’s a breakdown of each section.
Wi-Fi Configuration #
You can connect MACOBOX to a Wi-Fi network directly from the Wi-Fi section.
- Click the Refresh button to scan for available networks
- Select a network and enter the password to connect
- Previously connected networks will appear with a Forget button, in case you want to remove saved credentials
On page load, only the currently connected network is shown, along with a Disconnect button.

API Keys #
This section contains API tokens that extend MACOBOX functionality.
Currently supported:
- MACOBOX Key
Used for device upgrades and subscription-based features.
With an active key, you gain access to additional modules such as AI-based analysis, advanced scans, and cloud features.

Files #
This section allows file management for specific MACOBOX features.
1. UART Scripts #
You can upload UART scripts from:
- USB (if using the touchscreen interface)
- File system (if accessing MACOBOX via browser)
You can also edit these scripts directly from the interface.
See the UART section for more details.
2. JTAG Config Files #
Upload configuration files for various chipsets used in the JTAG module.
These files help define how to interact with target devices over JTAG.

Account #
The account section shows the actual status of your subscription and allows to update your pin code access.

Updates #
From the Updates section, you can:
- Download and install the latest firmware and feature updates
- View the full changelog for each version to see what’s new, improved, or fixed
⚠️ Internet access is required to check for updates and download new packages.
Updates take effect only after the update file has been successfully downloaded and verified, and will be applied at the next device reboot.
