Following the go to project link in the homepage, you’ll get to the Projects page.
Here, all user-created projects are listed, showing their name, status, and timestamps for creation and last update.
Project Details #
By clicking on a project, you’ll access its detail page.
This page gathers all the findings associated with that specific project. These findings are collected through various operations performed using MACOBOX’s features.
For example, when working within the UART, JTAG, SPI, I2C, or other sections of the tool, users can save findings and link them to an existing project.
This allows for a structured and centralized view of all related discoveries within a single workspace.
Editing Project Info #
At the top of the detail page, you can edit the project name and update its status (e.g., Open, Pending, Closed).
This allows for easier organization and tracking of multiple projects over time.
Associating Items to a Project #
As an alternative to linking findings during each operation, you can manually associate items to a project directly from the Project Detail Page.
As shown in the image above, simply use the Associate Item button.
Once associated, the items will appear in the Related Items section, where they can be viewed and reviewed at any time.

FCC ID Search #
In the Search FCCID section, you can query the official FCC Equipment Authorization database, managed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States.
This government-maintained database contains all publicly available documentation submitted by manufacturers for devices sold in the U.S. that require FCC certification.
You can search by FCC ID and view relevant documents, such as:
- Internal photos
- Schematics
- Test reports
- User manuals
Any useful document can be saved to the project and accessed directly from within MACOBOX.
The documents saved from the list retrieved by the FCCID function will be available in the DOCS tab. The DOCS tab also contains exports from scans and agent chats.

Photos (Subscription Only) #
The Photos section introduces a powerful feature that’s quickly making our microscope feel lonely on the shelf 😄
During your penetration test, you can take close-up photos of components from the device under test and upload them directly to MACOBOX.
You can even do this from your phone — just connect to the IP address shown on the dashboard (port 5000) and access the upload interface.
Each photo will be automatically analyzed by MACOBOX’s AI feature, which provides a detailed description of the component.
This analysis is then saved directly into your project, enriching your documentation without needing to take manual notes.

Exporting a Project #
When your work is complete, you can export the entire project by clicking the “Export” button.
MACOBOX will generate an archive containing all associated files, including:
- Binary dumps
- Log files
- Photos
- Notes
- Any other saved data
To finalize the export, simply connect a USB device to MACOBOX.
The archive will be saved to the USB drive, allowing you to easily back up or transfer your findings.
